Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will maintain calendars for staff members to facilitate meetings or conferences.

You will direct an organization's internet website to establish updates for the site.

You will answer routine questions to ensure flow of office operations.

You will coordinate with personnel to schedule briefings or meetings.

You will resolve administrative issues (e.g., procurement of supplies, schedule conflicts, leave requests, overtime or compensatory time requests, procurement, timekeeping) to avoid disruption to office operations.

You will author, prepare, and edit correspondence such as official letters, memorandums, and other documents in support of department staff.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Demonstrates competency in a number of office administrative support tasks - including registrations, filing, report creation and submission, etc; 2) Maintain schedule and calendar for leadership. 3) Provides clerical and automation support related to records management. 4) Develop training aids for use by office members and provides hands-on-training. 5) Utilize various software types including word processing, excel, scanner, fax machines. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
