Summary

You will serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in the Business Operations Office of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14 and is capped at the GS-13, step 10 and the NT-4 encompasses GS-11 and GS-12. Salary: NT-4 $85,447 - $133,142 NT-5 $121,785 - $187,093 (capped at $158,322)

Duties

You will perform as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of contract statements of work.

You will provide advice to solve difficult and precedent setting issues.

You will interface with technical leads, support codes and the contractor for completion and execution of badge requests, SAAR forms, Technical Instruction (TI) forms.

You will coordinate with technical leads across various assigned contracts in order to effectively evaluate and interpret monthly contractor performance reports.

You will perform WAWF validation and approval of contract invoices to ensure costs align with funding allocated.

You will interface with Technical Leads, Project/Program Managers and Financial Analysts to support Execution of funding on contracts.

You will maintain a complete and comprehensive COR file of all communication and documentation associated with the contract over its life cycle.

You will prepare and present briefings summarizing contract execution status for senior leadership to include accomplishments and issues; the COR will provide recommendations for items requiring resolution.

You will provide training to team members when required, to provide interpretations of existing procedures.

Qualifications

NT-05 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or pay band (NT-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing contract execution utilizing government contracting and financial management principles; monitoring contractor performance against established quality, schedule, and cost metrics for government service or supply contracts; collaborating with technical personnel and stakeholders to define and document contract requirements; and maintaining compliance with regulations throughout the contract lifecycle and procurement process. NT-04 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9/10 grade level or pay band (NT-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing contract execution utilizing government contracting and financial management principles; monitoring contractor performance against established quality, schedule, and cost metrics for government service or supply contracts; collaborating with technical personnel and stakeholders to define and document contract requirements; and maintaining compliance with regulations throughout the contract lifecycle and procurement process.
