This vacancy is for a GS-0303-07, Administrative Assistant (OA) located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Director of Operational Logistics, Base Boston, Naval Engineering Support Unit, Industrial Production Facility in Boston, Massachusetts.
Duties
You will serve as an Administrative Assistant (OA) and be responsible for the full range of clerical and administrative support functions for the Base Boston Naval Engineering Support Unit. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Serving as the central point of contact for the organization on workforce management matters and acts as a liaison to the command staff advisor/human resources specialist and SFLC Workforce Management staff. Serving as a central resource person for implementing and maintaining office control systems, such as those for the location, arrangement, access to, and use of office files, and for maintenance, transfer, and disposition of records. Assisting in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program or project studies. Composing correspondence in accordance with oral or written instructions and locating referenced correspondence for readers. Facilitating Agency-wide communication by assuring that staff at all levels are fully informed on internal and Agency-wide procedures. Monitoring supply and inventory utilization. Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Assisting in workforce management duties. Utilizing Microsoft Office programs to create written correspondence, reports, and to track data Performing sound customer service. Assisting with inventory and supply functions.
